I have them in the right folder, and they're 2048x1024 dds files with dxt1 compression, but they never seem to show up ingame. Secondly, while I enjoy Fallout NV's loadscreen images, I thought it'd be fitting if I threw a few new ones in there from Fallout 3's concept art and stuff. I couldn't find any other threads relating to this.
However, what I'd like to know is which scripts are controlling TTW's soundtrack and how to edit them to add new tracks/properly replace existing ones. I expected this, since I don't think Fallout NV has the ability to make custom playlists in the CK/GECK/CS/whatever like Skyrim does. if I put a 10 minute track in the place of a 3 minute track, it'll only play the first 3 minutes of the track, whereas tracks which are shorter than the one they replace will have silence at the end). I tried adding new tracks to the game's music folders like I would do in non-TTW Fallout 3 but it appears as if the soundtrack in DC is scripted or something because it'll only play tracks that I gave the same filenames as the originals, and they seem to be time restricted (i.e. So I had a couple questions regarding a few aspects of the game that I thought would be easier to change.įirstly, the soundtrack.
