Audio Stream Input/Output (ASIO) is a computer sound card driver protocol for digital audio specified by Steinberg, providing a low-latency and high fidelity interface between a software application and a computer's sound card.Then, go into Options -> Preferences and make sure the audio input from the M Track 2 is listed as a possible input. I'd recommend using the M-Audio ASIO driver (if you're not already), and make sure you have phantom power switched on on the M Track 2, because the 3000 is a condenser mic.
